After all, our inherent disposition gives us the benefit of perceiving life through a dual-gendered lens.
No, not really. As a queer-bashed, somewhat 'girly' cis-heterosexual man, I did not perceive life as a female. I was always male, and always heterosexual. Nowadays I'd have been at huge risk of being relentlessly 'affirmed' into hormones and surgery.
