From photographer Martin Buday's first monograph, Prophetic Kingdom. What I would call "weird Americana"; what he calls "images of unpopulated and pseudo-apocalyptic landscapes”; and what his publisher calls "an ongoing photographic investigation exploring scenes of the everyday and overlooked....the images give an allegorical nod towards a prophesied postlapsarian world".
