I see that at the Guardian's website, there is a story about confusion from the Labour Party about single-sex facilities, with their Equalities Spokesperson, Dawn Butler saying that they are no longer relevant, while another shadow minister, Laura Pidcock thinks that they need to be retained.
It strikes me that where there is a conflict between different people's rights, then the issue needs to be openly discussed. Not that the Guardian has covered itself with glory on this issue. It's attitude seems to be to ignore the problem in the hope that it will go away.
