"An investigation for the BBC has found evidence of young people suffering threats, intimidation, being ostracised by their communities and, in some cases, encountering serious physical abuse when they told their families they were no longer Muslims."

Seems to me we need to dish out some lengthy prison sentences to those who are threatening, intimidating, and physically abusing their children. This would be disruptive for some of the families concerned, but there again we have long recognised that some families need disrupting for the good of the individuals concerned.
