I wonder if his enemies - Eagleton, Galloway, etc., etc. - wonder what sort of tributes will be forthcoming when they depart. It is reasonably clear that they will do rather less well than Hitchens.

There was a revealing news bulletin on BBC radio London yesterday afternoon during the Danny Baker show. Instead of getting someone appropriate they wheeled out Tarik Ali to pronounce him a class traitor. Danny was rather taken aback and criticised the report ending with "nice one BBC"!

Tariq Ali is another one who could only dream of getting the sort of tributes that Hitchens has received. A bitter old fool.

Fiend's Brave Victim

Tariq Ali made it to The World at One on R4 too. He did himself no favours, but then that's no surprise.
