At (where else?) the Guardian's CiF:
For there to be a justification for Israel's existence, there first has to exist an existential threat to the Jewish people. Granted, history has handed us that fear of annihilation on a plate, but just because the fear exists, it doesn't necessarily follow that what is feared does too.
Ony an "existential threat" can justify Israel's existence? Doesn't apply to any other country, but then the Jews always were different. And so lucky! - they've had the fear of annihilation handed to them on a plate. Now all they need to do is realise that the rockets from Gaza, the ravings of Ahmedinejad, the incessant demonisation of the Zionist Entity across the Muslim world, are all figments of their imagination.
As for 1948, 1967, 1973....just silly little misunderstandings...
Will people realize some day the level of antisemitism the Jews have to swallow every fucking day?

Many of us do, Fabian. Let us hope that enough of us have the courage to support Israel when the need arises, as it will.
Every line drawn on a map was drawn by the victors of war. Some are natural geographic boundaries, the rest are arbitrary. Israel has an almost unique degree of justification for its existence: history, 4000 years of continual residence, more blood than nearly any other, a UN resolution, and a life or death struggle.
