Mona Eltahawy was involved in a silly NYC subway incident where she acted like a little fool. But I guess the situation in her home country is now so messed up that she has no clear right or wrong stances.
Yes, I saw that. As you say, silly stuff, defacing one of Pamela Geller's posters. She's an outspoken Muslim feminist, which is a tricky balancing act, I imagine. Still, good luck to her.
I was surprised, hearing her speak, how British her accent sounded, considering she's lived in NYC for awhile.
