Yes, Princelet Street's been done up - those old Huguenot houses are fabulously expensive nowadays. I posted some pictures of the area back in January - http://mickhartley.typepad.com/blog/2010/01/round-spitalfields.html
No, this is much further afield: New York, just off Canal Street in downtown Manhattan.
