On Santa's Knee

Remember how we used to visit Santa's grotto, sit on his knee, and tell him what we wanted for Christmas? Ho, ho, ho! How sad that the politically-correct brigade have virtually put paid to this wonderful tradition, which brought so much joy to the kiddies. What's the world coming to, eh? Soon we won't be allowed to celebrate Christmas at all: it'll be Winterval this and Winterval that. Amirite??

Although I kind of agree with you, two female friends who had Santa put his hand in their pants definitely don't, and to be honest here in Oz you can still sit on Santa's knee to have your photo taken, but most kids I've seen are screaming their heads off in terror. Perhaps the "war on Christmas" has reached the same level here?
